Hi! I'm Candace. A high performance coach, speaker, investor, and entrepreneur. However you know me, or if you're new to me, I'm so glad you're here.
It's a privilege to have the opportunity to share ideas with each other and this newsletter is one way that important conversations can happen.
Seeking and sharing knowledge, wisdom, humor, joy... Being curious and open to new perspectives... Learning and growing always, while being grateful and present in the moment... these are some of the ways I strive to live that bring a lot of value to my life and it's my mission to share ideas and strategies in a way that bring meaningful change and value to your life as well.

Why ONE LIFE: WEEKLY?
The name for ONE LIFE: WEEKLY came to me when I forced myself to, once again, acknowledge that more time in our lives isn't promised. And that got me wondering, if "the finish line" we're all counting on isn't another 50 years down the road- whenever it comes will we feel like, "If only I had more time I would have done those things that mattered. I would have lived the way I wanted to." That brought on a wave of existential dread and I wanted some attempt at a solution, in case the finish line comes a lot sooner.
For 10 years I've intentionally integrated the things that make me happy as part of my life in some way or at some level. (adventures with my kids; art, nature, fresh flowers; finding ways to help others less fortunate; reading, writing, learning, growing things; connecting with friends; travel; finding reasons to smile and have fun.)
Like many of you, I'm always striving to know, learn, do, have, and give more AND I'm not waiting for later or more to live aligned with my vision and values and feel as good as I can, as much as I can, about my efforts. (of course I'm not perfect at this. I fall short often, I fail often, I feel bad often, I'm almost never my "best," but one thing that's true about me... I know how to get back on the path pretty fast!)

It's not a new idea to plan out your weeks with purpose and attention to your goals and priorities, but I think it is a good idea to realize that by doing so you're allowing yourself to live your chosen, best life each time. And I believe it is actually important to think of it like that or you might miss the point that how we spend each week IS how we spend our lives.
Our end of week reviews aren't just for checking the boxes of what we accomplished and lining up the next ones- they're also the perfect time for noticing and acknowledging what we created, chose, made time for, feel proud of, or want to change up for the next round. ​​

It's true that I can't fit all the important parts of my life into one day, and when I think about one month at a time- even though I know my plan, the meaning of it get's a little nebulous for me. But what I've realized (and if you've stuck with me this long, we've finally reached the point!) is that I can fit whatever is most important to me into every week! I can do things that are good for my health. I can connect with the people I care about. I can move the needle in my businesses. I can spend time learning something new. I can do things for fun. I can reflect and plan.

I truly believe that we can live the lives we want if we get very intentional about them one week at a time.
Life is too short to stay stuck; to continually "not know where the time went"; to live with the disappointment and regret of "never getting around to it"or "not following through" when we knew something was important. If any of this is also how you feel, or what you want in your life too, I'd be honored if you join me in striving for more of whatever is most important to you on this gift of a journey we get to call life.
